‘Bookmark this’ – Celtic prediction as Kyogo Furuhashi seals Birmingham City transfer
Birmingham City have made a statement to their Championship rivals by signing Kyogo Furuhashi from Rennes.
The forward becomes Blues’ sixth transfer arrival of the summer, following the recruits of Phil Neumann, James Beadle, Tommy Doyle, Demarai Gray, and Bright Osayi-Samuel.
Kyogo won eight domestic titles during his time at Celtic, scoring 85 goals in 165 games – including eight goals in 11 Old Firm matches against Rangers.

He left Parkhead only last January, but his move to Rennes didn’t work out after failing to score in the six appearances he made in France.
Celtic fans have been reacting to the forward’s switch to St. Andrew’s on social media, with one admitting: “Still miss him at Celtic. Brilliant player with fantastic attitude.”
Another added: “Absolutely loved him at Celtic. Give him the ball inside the box and the magic will happen. His constant chasing the defenders and energy is unbelievable and will score a barrowload of goals if he stays fit.”
