This man really Need support to back his Summer deal

A Leeds United legend has publicly called on the club’s hierarchy to fully support manager Daniel Farke in the transfer market, insisting the German coach needs the right backing to realise his Premier League dream.

Speaking passionately about the club’s ambitions, the former Elland Road hero—whose name commands respect among fans—said Farke has proven his ability and now deserves the tools to build a team capable of promotion and more.

🗣️ “This man really needs support,” the ex-Leeds star stated. “Daniel Farke has the vision, the experience, and the hunger. If Leeds want to win the Premier League one day, it starts by backing him now. He knows what it takes to build a winning team. The board must trust him.”

Farke, who guided Leeds to a solid Championship campaign last season, has been vocal about wanting to strengthen his squad this summer as he plots an automatic promotion push. With several key areas identified for reinforcements, pressure is mounting on the club to deliver the necessary resources before the new season kicks off.

So far, the Whites have made a handful of additions, but expectations remain high that further signings are needed to match the manager’s ambitions. Fans have echoed the legend’s comments, demanding that the club show serious intent in the window.

With promotion back to the top flight the clear target, the message is simple: back Farke now—or risk falling short again.

This summer window will be a huge crossroads for some Leeds United players. Going into the Premier League, everyone knows that not everyone from the squad will make the jump to the top flight.

It is especially a key time in the career of some of the young players at the club. So far under Daniel Farke, he has been selective in which young players he uses – Archie Gray was a starter under him, while Joe Gelhardt was loaned out.
This summer the club has put Gelhardt, Gyabi and Greenwood up for sale, expecting some

profit for PSR reasons. Mateo Joseph is also a player who could find himself leaving Elland Road, with the reports of a new striker being lined up.
