Derby County have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated 18-year-old centre-back Mor Ndiaye from Senegalese side Amitié FC, as the Rams move quickly to secure one of Africa’s most promising young defensive talents.
Ndiaye was identified by Derby’s recruitment team following standout performances at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Qatar last year, where he represented Senegal  and impressed scouts with his physical presence, composure in possession and maturity at the back.

After extensive scouting, Derby County have now reached an agreement in principle with Amitié FC and are pushing to finalise the transfer swiftly, determined to complete the deal before interest from Premier League clubs emerges. The teenager’s rapid development has attracted attention across Europe, prompting the Rams to act decisively.
