The 20-year-old striker featured at Hillsborough against Wrexham on January 31, with speculation already growing about his potential switch to the Welsh side. It proved to be his last outing in Wednesday colours.

Speaking on That Wrexham Podcast, the Jamaica international reflected candidly on the night.

“I must have been unbelievable — I thought I was honking,” he joked. “But I got the nod after, so I must have done alright.”

The remark captured the young forward’s grounded nature as he prepares for a new chapter in his career.

A product of Sheffield Wednesday’s academy, Cadamarteri emerged as one of the club’s promising young talents during a challenging period. He leaves having scored seven goals in 57 appearances for the Owls.

He also enjoyed a productive loan spell at Lincoln City, registering eight goals in 31 matches, further sharpening his development at senior level.
