BREAKING: Everton Open Talks to Sign Dani Ceballos as Real Madrid Exit Nears

Everton have reportedly opened talks over a potential move for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos, with the Spanish playmaker expected to leave the Santiago Bernabéu in the near future.

Manager David Moyes is believed to be a strong admirer of the 29-year-old and is keen to add experience and technical quality to his midfield ahead of the new campaign. Sources close to the situation suggest Everton have begun exploring the conditions of a possible transfer as they look to strengthen their squad.

Ceballos, who has struggled to secure a consistent starting role at Real Madrid in recent seasons, is attracting interest from several clubs across Europe and beyond. Despite his undeniable talent, competition for places in Madrid’s star-studded midfield has limited his opportunities.

Reports indicate that the midfielder is expected to be left out of the plans of incoming manager José Mourinho, making a summer departure increasingly likely. As a result, Real Madrid could be prepared to listen to offers for the former Spain international.

Everton view Ceballos as a player capable of bringing creativity, composure, and top-level experience to the heart of their midfield. Moyes is eager to build a competitive side capable of challenging higher up the Premier League table, and the Spaniard is seen as a player who could make an immediate impact.

The former Arsenal loanee already has Premier League experience from his spell in North London, where he impressed with his passing range, work rate, and ability to dictate the tempo of matches.

While negotiations are still at an early stage, Everton are hopeful that the prospect of regular first-team football could help persuade Ceballos to make the move to Merseyside. However, with clubs from several countries also monitoring his situation, competition for his signature is expected to be fierce.

The coming weeks could prove decisive as Everton attempt to turn their interest into a concrete deal and secure one of the most experienced midfielders potentially available on the market this summer.
