Everton Agree Deal for Senegalese Teen Defender Mor Ndiaye Under David Moyes
David Moyes and the Everton board have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated 18-year-old centre-back Mor Ndiaye from Senegalese side Amitié FC, as the Toffees move decisively to secure one of Africa’s most promising young defensive talents.
Ndiaye was identified by Everton’s recruitment team following impressive performances at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Qatar last year, where he represented Senegal  and caught the eye with his physical strength, composure on the ball and maturity beyond his years at the heart of defence.

After months of scouting, Everton have now reached an agreement in principle with Amitié FC and are keen to finalise the transfer as quickly as possible, determined to complete the deal before interest from other Premier League clubs intensifies. Ndiaye’s development has reportedly drawn attention from across Europe, prompting swift action from the Merseyside club.
