The 26-year-old, who made the controversial switch from Norwich to Ipswich last summer, played a key role in the Tractor Boys’ successful campaign. He featured for over 70 minutes in Saturday’s decisive 3–0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Portman Road, a result that confirmed Ipswich’s return to the top flight.
Under the guidance of Kieran McKenna, Ipswich secured second place in the EFL Championship, finishing just one point ahead of Millwall. Early goals from George Hirst and Jaden Philogene-Bidace settled nerves quickly, setting the tone for a dominant performance.
