🚨 Coventry City Receive Huge Injury News Ahead of Norwich Clash

Coventry City have been handed a major boost ahead of their Championship showdown with Norwich City this weekend, as several key players edge closer to full fitness.

The Sky Blues have been sweating over the availability of Jay Dasilva, Josh Eccles, and Joel Latibeaudiere, who have all been carrying knocks in recent weeks. However, manager has confirmed that the trio are making strong progress and could play a part against the Canaries.

Dasilva, who has been sidelined with a muscle issue, returned to training earlier this week and is pushing to be involved in the matchday squad. Midfielder Josh Eccles, another vital figure in Lampard’ system, is also back in contention after missing recent fixtures.

Meanwhile, Latibeaudiere, a defensive mainstay since joining from Swansea, has responded well to treatment and is rated as “50-50” for the Norwich clash.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Lampard said:

“We’ve had some positive news on the injury front. Jay, Josh, and Joel have all been working hard with the medical team. It’ll come down to how they react over the next 24 hours, but we’re hopeful of having at least two of them available.”

The timing of these returns could prove crucial, with Coventry looking to climb further up the Championship table and keep momentum in their promotion push. Norwich, also targeting a strong campaign, are expected to provide stern opposition at Carrow Road.

With the injury list easing, Sky Blues fans will be optimistic that Lampard ’ side can field a stronger lineup and deliver a big performance in East Anglia.
