Everton Stand Firm: Twelve January Bids Rejected for Key First-Team Star
Everton have taken a hard line in the January transfer window after officially rejecting TWELVE separate offers for one of their most important first-team players.
Interest in the Toffees star has been intense, with clubs from the Premier League and overseas making repeated approaches throughout the month.

Despite the volume of bids, Everton’s stance has not wavered £50 million or no deal.
The club view the player as a central figure in their plans, particularly as they look to stabilise and build momentum during the second half of the season. With that in mind, Everton’s hierarchy have made it clear they will not be forced into a sale, especially at a price they believe undervalues the player’s impact and potential.

Sources close to Goodison Park suggest the firm valuation reflects the player’s age, contract situation, and growing importance on the pitch. Every offer submitted so far has fallen short of the £50m mark and has been swiftly turned away.
While interest is expected to resurface in the summer, Everton’s message this January is unmistakable: meet the £50 million asking price, or look elsewhere. 
