Information: Enabling works begin at Vitality Stadium

Supporters attending this weekend’s fixture against Aston Villa are advised to be aware of changes in place around Vitality Stadium.

Following approval from BCP Council, enabling works have now begun in the surrounding area, which will result in temporary adjustments to access routes and the stadium footprint.

Fans are encouraged to read the below in order to familiarise themselves with the updated arrangements ahead of matchday.

Kings and Park Plaza

The impact of the enabling works means that the Plaza will no longer be operational on a matchday. In the interim, an area for food and drink concessions will be created pre-game and at half-time in both external corners of the Ted MacDougall Vitality South Stand.

In addition, all concourses will now open two hours before kick-off to ensure supporters are able to enjoy the pre-match build up in weather protected areas.

The DC Lounge will continue to operate from Bar 1 with timings unaffected, whilst the Junior Fanzone will open half-an-hour early for 3pm kick-offs.

Changing Places

As a result of the enabling works and to ensure that supporters seated within the Ted MacDougall Vitality South Stand continue to have the facility to access concession stands, our changing places facility will be relocated to the Vitality East Stand’s outer perimeter.

The location in the Vitality East Stand has been decided in collaboration with AFC Bournemouth’s Disabled Supporters Association. This facility will continue to be operated by the welfare team, who will provide support to any supporters requiring use of the facility during the match.

Ted MacDougall South Stand

We are encouraging any supporters in the Ted MacDougall South Stand to arrive and enter the stadium as early as possible in order to help us manage this area of the stadium. Over the next few months, as we work towards redeveloping the stadium, we are asking supporters for their assistance in arriving early, keeping up to date with club communications and working with us to navigate this period.
