Former teammate Jakov Medic has opened up emotionally about the departure of Marcelino Nunez, admitting he was “really sad” to see the midfielder leave Norwich City for rivals Ipswich Town.
Speaking about Nunez’s move, Medic revealed he had always believed the Chilean international was destined to become one of Norwich’s most important players and potentially help deliver silverware to Carrow Road.
“I’ve always said, Marcelino was a player to stay in Norwich and win trophy for Norwich,” Medic said. “I was really SAD when he chose to go Ipswich.”
