Leeds United Close In on Fan-Favourite Return as Manor Solomon Edges Towards Elland Road Reunion
Leeds United are on the verge of completing the emotional return of one of their former fan favourites, with the club reportedly reaching an agreement with French side RC Lens over a deal for winger Manor Solomon.
According to respected transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Whites have made significant progress in negotiations and are now closing in on a move that could see the Israeli international return to Elland Road before the start of the new Premier League season.
The news has sparked excitement among Leeds supporters, many of whom have long hoped to see Solomon wearing the famous white shirt once again.
Supporters quickly flooded social media with their reactions.
“Best news ever!”
“He was outstanding during his time at Leeds.”
“So glad he’s coming back!”
Those comments reflect the affection Solomon earned during his previous spell at the club. The winger scored 11 goals for Leeds before securing a big-money transfer in 2024, leaving behind memories of thrilling performances, crucial goals, and his ability to change games with his pace and creativity.
Despite his departure, many supporters never gave up hope of seeing him return to Elland Road, and that dream now appears closer than ever.
Leeds manager Daniel Farke has made strengthening the attacking department a priority ahead of the club’s return to the Premier League. Solomon’s familiarity with the squad, the supporters, and the demands of English football makes him an ideal addition as Leeds prepare for another challenging campaign.
The 25-year-old’s direct running, technical quality, and eye for goal made him one of Leeds’ standout performers during his previous stint. His return would not only boost the squad’s quality but also provide an instant lift to the fanbase.
While the final paperwork is still to be completed, confidence is growing that the transfer will soon be officially confirmed. If the deal goes through as expected, it would mark one of the most popular signings of Leeds United’s summer transfer window.
Leeds supporters will now be eagerly awaiting the official announcement, hoping to welcome back a player who left a lasting impression and could once again play a major role in the club’s ambitions in the Premier League.
