🚨 Bournemouth Close In on Álvaro Rodríguez in £21 Million Transfer Deal Premier League side AFC Bournemouth are on the verge of completing the signing of Álvaro Rodríguez from Elche CF in a deal worth a reported £21 million.

The 21-year-old striker is expected to travel to the United Kingdom later this week to undergo a medical, with only the final formalities remaining before the transfer is completed.

Rodríguez enjoyed an encouraging campaign in La Liga last season, scoring seven league goals for Elche. Among his standout moments were goals against Spanish giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF, highlighting his ability to perform on the biggest stage.

Known for his physical presence, aerial ability, and intelligent movement inside the penalty area, Rodríguez is viewed as one of the brightest young forwards in Spanish football. Bournemouth believe the Uruguayan has the potential to develop into a key figure in their attack as they continue to strengthen ahead of the new Premier League season.

If the medical goes according to plan, an official announcement is expected soon, with Bournemouth set to add another exciting young talent to their squad in what could prove to be one of their most significant signings of the summer transfer window.

The move signals Bournemouth’s ambition to invest in promising players with long-term potential as they aim to build on recent progress and establish themselves further in the Premier League. Fans will now be eagerly awaiting confirmation as Rodríguez edges closer to becoming the club’s latest signing.
