Coventry City have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated 18-year-old centre-back Mor Ndiaye from Senegalese club Amitié FC, as the Sky Blues move quickly to secure one of Africa’s most promising young defenders.
Ndiaye was identified by Coventry’s recruitment team following standout performances at the FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Qatar last year, where he represented Senegal and impressed scouts with his strength, composure on the ball and maturity at the heart of defence.
