Ipswich Town boss Kieran McKenna has responded to hostile chants from sections of the travelling support following another disappointing night for the Blues, as they fell to a 3–1 defeat against Sheffield United away from home.

“My message is that we are working extremely hard to pick up points in the Championship. It’s also my responsibility to look at the bigger picture.
“I thought we played very well in the first half away from home. There were areas we could improve, but the way we finished the game, I believe we did more than enough to win here.”
