INTERNATIONAL CAREER OVER?! ‘Deleted’ Cole Palmer Instagram Screenshot Sends England Fans Into Meltdown
Social media was thrown into complete chaos on Thursday morning after an alleged “deleted” Instagram screenshot, claimed to feature England star Cole Palmer mocking manager Thomas Tuchel, began circulating across multiple fan pages and group chats.
Within minutes, the image had spread rapidly across X, Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp, with thousands of supporters debating whether the screenshot was genuine or an elaborate fake designed to stir controversy during England’s World Cup campaign.
The alleged post, which has not been independently verified, appeared to show Palmer making a sarcastic comment aimed at Tuchel’s management. However, no verified version of the post has appeared on Palmer’s official social media accounts, leading many fans to question its authenticity.
The timing could hardly be worse for England. With Tuchel attempting to keep his squad fully focused on the knockout stages of the World Cup, rumours of dressing-room unrest have immediately sparked widespread speculation.
According to reports circulating online, discussions have already taken place behind closed doors as England officials seek to establish exactly where the screenshot originated and whether there is any truth behind the claims. So far, neither Cole Palmer nor the England camp has issued a public statement regarding the viral image.
Supporters remain deeply divided. Some believe the screenshot is nothing more than a cleverly edited fake designed to generate engagement on social media, while others fear it could point to genuine frustration behind the scenes.
The incident has once again highlighted how quickly unverified content can spread online, especially during major international tournaments, where every rumour is amplified within minutes.
Until official confirmation emerges, there is no evidence that Palmer posted the alleged message or that his international future is under threat. Nevertheless, the speculation has dominated online discussions and placed fresh attention on England’s preparations as they continue their World Cup campaign.
For now, England supporters are left waiting for clarity as one viral screenshot continues to fuel one of the biggest talking points surrounding the Three Lions.
